Fixtures
The club competes in a range of events from Novice Level through to the National Swimming League. Teams to represent the club in League and Inter-Club galas will be made by the head coach in conjunction with other coaches/teachers or as delegated by him. A team sheet with those either provisionally selected or the final team selection will be displayed on the club noticeboards, please confirm availability as soon as possible.
- Entry into Open Meets and Championship events will require the completion of an entry form and payment. Please make sure all entry forms are correctly completed, including the asa Registration Number (asa Registration Forms are available from Denise Crowe - telephone 01329 280664 or email chalknslate@aol.com).
- All Open Meets will have entry conditions (see links, below and notice boards). It is the responsibility of the swimmer/parent to ensure that entry conditions are complied with.
- All Open Meets require an entry time, some events have lower and upper qualifying times, (check the ASA's Ranking Database or the club's Personal Bests Page).
- The ASA restricts the age at which children can compete. Normally the minimum age for Galas and Open Meets is 9 years; this does vary from one event to another. The calculation of ages of swimmers varies from one competition to another, details will be on the entry form or team sheet.
- Entry forms should be handed in to your coach or Jan Warwick.
