Squads and Sessions
There are eight squads in the club:
- Flippers
- Otters
- Seals
- Dolphins
- Kings 1
- Kings 2
- Masters
- Royals
Squad Criteria
Flippers, Otters, Seals, Kings One and Kings Two squads now have clearly defined qualifying criteria and objectives. All swimmers and parents should make themselves fully aware of these. For Flippers and Otters the criteria will come into force on the 1st January 2010. This will allow a short period of time for swimmers seeking to move to become fully aware of what is required of them.

We run training sessions at four excellent 25m pools in Winchester
- River Park Leisure Centre (Gordon Road)
Based off North Walls Recreation Ground in the city centre, it is clearly signposted from all directions.
- Winchester College (Kingsgate Road)
- Kings’ School (off Romsey Road)
- Army Training Regiment (Andover Road)
We also use the purpose-built Learner pool at River Park for our youngest lesson's swimmers, and the Aldershot Garrison pool for 50m (long course) training.
Land Training takes place in the gym at Winchester College, Kingsgate Road, Winchester.
